We are Ericka and Hunter, the husband-and-wife team behind Build The Burgh. Our roles are different, but our responsibility is shared. We keep the experience clear, connect the design to the work on the ground, and stay accountable to the finished space.
We founded Build The Burgh in 2016 after years of contributing to complex exterior work behind larger builders.
Hunter brought approximately 15 years of hands-on building and subcontracting experience. Ericka built the operational side, guiding client communication, lead intake, discovery, rough estimates, permitting, drawings, and administration.
We brought different strengths to the work, but we shared the same responsibility: give homeowners a clearer relationship with the people shaping their property.
Our work showed us how easily homeowners can be left guessing. A vague proposal can hide important decisions. A disconnected process can make it difficult to know who is responsible. Material choices can feel technical when nobody explains what they change.

Hunter brings approximately 15 years of building and subcontracting experience to the technical side of your project. He leads technical sales, design, renderings, construction, project management, completion, and final walkthroughs.
His field experience informs the decisions that are easy to overlook from a screen. Grade, structure, drainage, circulation, material performance, and long-term use all influence how your finished outdoor space should work.

Your project includes a two-year labor warranty, and the selected manufacturer provides its own product warranty after installation.
