A Warranty Should Tell You Who Stands Behind the Work

A finished deck is only part of your investment. You should also know what our labor warranty covers, what the selected manufacturers cover, and where to turn when a question comes up after completion.

Our 10-Year Workmanship Warranty

Our 10-year workmanship warranty covers the labor and installation performed by our team on your Build The Burgh project. It is separate from the selected manufacturer’s product warranty. We review the project record with you, so you know what our workmanship coverage addresses and where a product question belongs.

Our workmanship coverage relates to:

A finished deck is only one part of the result. We focus on the decisions that shape how the space performs, how clearly you understand the investment, and how confidently you can move forward.

Manufacturer Material Warranties

Every product line carries its own written warranty terms. Coverage length, registration requirements, care requirements, exclusions, and transfer rules vary by manufacturer and collection. We record the products used on your project so you can find the relevant terms after completion.

Care That Helps Preserve Coverage

Simple maintenance helps your materials perform as intended and helps you follow the requirements attached to the selected product warranty. We review product-specific care at the final walkthrough.

Composite Decking

Use mild soap and water for routine cleaning. Avoid aggressive pressure washing because it can damage protective cap layers and affect manufacturer coverage.

Railings and Lighting

Follow the care instructions for the selected railing, lighting, and accessory products. Abrasive cleaners and harsh treatment can damage finishes and components.

Under-Deck Systems

Keep drainage points clear of debris and inspect the system after major weather events. Under-deck systems manage water, but they do not turn the space below into a fully enclosed waterproof room.
